TUTILL REMEMBRANCE ITEMS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
On 1st August 2011, Tutill Remembrance Items will change ownership and management with the retirement of its Managing Director, Susan Tutill. Shaw & Sons Limited, supplier to government and the professions since 1750, will now operate the business with a commitment to running it with the same high standards and thoughtful attention to customers' needs that has been a trademark of Tutill Remembrance Items for the past 14 years. 
From small beginnings in the late 1990s, Tutill Remembrance Items has become a niche supplier to the funeral trade of tastefully-designed urns, keepsake jewellery and supporting products that can make coping with bereavement just a little more bearable for families.
Crispin Williams, Managing Director of Shaw & Sons Limited, is delighted to be able to continue this specialised service to the funeral industry. One of the UK's oldest companies, Shaw & Sons Limited already has links to the sector through its supplies of burial and grave registers and In Memoriam condolence books to local authorities, and as the former publisher of Davies' Law of Burial, Exhumation and Cremation and Reusing Old Graves. 
Shaw's will continue to market the full range of remembrance products under the Tutill Remembrance Items brand. 
"Assuming ownership of Tutill Remembrance Items allows us to expand our range of products and services to a profession in which we have long had an interest," states Williams. "Shaw's ethos has always been to offer a personal and friendly service to our customers and therefore we feel that we are a natural fit with Sue Tutill's approach to business. We are also keen to maintain her ability to supply stock to tight timescales in order to ease the pressure on families at a difficult time."
