One Good Thing Leads To Another

The old saying that one good thing leads to another is certainly true for both Walter H. Squires & Son funeral directors and bespoke coachbuilders, Binz UK.

In 2006 Ryan Squires, of Walter H. Squires & Son, took delivery of a Binz Vito private ambulance, and was quoted at that point as commenting on the high standard of finish on a vehicle that few would ever actually view. Satisfaction with this Vito and a long standing tradition of using Mercedes-Benz vehicles meant that when the time came for renewals, it would be natural for Ryan Squires to look to the same marque for their replacements.

"It was important for us to find a Mercedes-Benz based fleet and we had been satisfied with the service we received from Binz UK with the Vito. So, when we looked at the Binz funeral cars we knew about the level of finish and service we would get with the fleet. We also appreciated that the limousines and hearse would have exactly the same back up from Mercedes as all the other cars on our exclusively Mercedes fleet.

"The car that we had on demonstration prior to the order drew a great deal of positive attention. It was surprising how many people commented on the quality of the vehicle". 

A funeral cortege is many things and there needs to be a balance struck between presentation and dignity. Yes, there is a need for a certain style and a nod in the direction of contemporary trends within a funeral fleet, but it should never detract from the centre of attention, the deceased. Ryan Squires added, "The cars have just the right level of chrome, and the viewing glass on the hearse could not be better, the distinctive style of the hearse actually focuses attention on the casket deck."

Walter H. Squires & Son joins the growing list of funeral directors who have been converted to Binz by the standard of service and the quality of the limousines and hearses backed up by full Mercedes support.
