Eire All Set To Conform To EU Norms

Vehicle coachbuilder Binz UK is strengthening its commitment to the Eire and Northern Ireland markets by establishing a dedicated local marketing arm in Binz Ireland. Staffed by professionals with 'hands on' experience of the Binz product line, Binz Ireland is set to take its range of fully EU Type Approved private ambulances, extended chassis hearses and limousines to both the funeral sector and professional limousine hire operators in both countries.

Paul Comer, Binz Ireland's sales director says "For the next 18 months, it will be one big roadshow for us, as we bring these vehicles out onto an individual operator's home turf".

A key part of the marque's appeal Comer believes, lies in the way that Binz UK has always paid great attention to staying at the forefront of both automotive technology, and the emerging EU and global legislation that is increasingly shaping both design and equipment levels.

"Binz have been very pro-active in deciding where they want to be as far as safety and European approvals go. We feel that in Ireland in particular, there will be significant changes to legislation down the road in relation to crash testing and providing proof of conformity in production. Changes that we consider have already been addressed in Binz vehicles."

The idea of a more local presence in both these markets has already been well received, judging by the favourable response to the concept from those Irish funeral directors who recently visited the recent National Funeral Exhibition at Stoneleigh, in England.
