PRESS INFORMATION FROM BINZ UK Binz Vito Is Purpose-built Addition To Argent Fleet Gary and Jai Vaudin of Argent Funeral Services Limited, Guernsey, recently took delivery of the award-winning, three-door version of the Binz iF Design 'Omniel' hearse. Now, as part of their bid to become one of the Island's leading funeral service providers, they have acquired a matching Binz Vito removal vehicle. Acquisition of the vehicle is the latest step in the owners' business development strategy, which, in 2008, will see the company moving into new premises in the centre of the Island. A modern fleet meets the specifications set out in the original draft of the brothers' business plan. The purchasing decision was actually made at the National Funeral Exhibition last June. Following careful scrutiny of the market beforehand, Gary and Jai had already decided on a Mercedes fleet. Thorough examination of the available options at the exhibition sealed the deal for the Binz Vito. Gary explained, "We had looked at another Mercedes removal vehicle but when we visited the Binz UK stand and looked over its conversion we were immensely impressed by the attention to detail. To my mind, the Binz conversion was the only vehicle at the show that had been properly designed for its intended purpose. I was particularly glad to see that the hydraulic lift components of the rise and fall deck had been concealed to facilitate cleaning of the load bay. None of the other vehicles on display were quite so well appointed. We ordered both the Binz hearse and Vito removal vehicle on the spot." Able to convey either four stretchers or six coffins at once, the Binz Vito comes with sliding side doors on both sides, as standard. This allows operatives easy access to the load bay from the 'safe' side of the road, a definite plus when using the vehicle en route to or from destinations outside the UK. Indeed, one of the very first tasks to which the Vaudin brothers put their new vehicle was repatriation of a body from France. Finished in Argent's corporate silver with two wood-veneer decks and a hearse-quality brightwork interior, the Binz Vito underscores the firm's commitment to the highest standards of client care, a reputation that is vitally important for Gary and Jai to maintain and build upon, given the close-knit nature and finite geographic boundaries of the community the company serves.
