Blue Binz Fleet Delivered on Tyne

Watson's Funeral Directors of Gateshead, have been in the business for 70 years and offer a first class service throughout the North East. With a reputation built on service and reliability the Watson fleet had been developed and latterly utilised a fleet of Mercedes based hearses and limousines. When the time came to renew the fleet the firm looked at the available options and realised that the Binz vehicles stood head and shoulders above the competition both in terms of integrity of engineering and in design.

Watson's John Hebron said, "We are delighted to be receiving our new fleet of Binz vehicles. We love the design of the hearse it gives us that wow factor, and in tanzanite blue we have given ourselves a unique signature, the quality and service has been outstanding, we are very proud and pleased" The iF Design Forum award winning E270 hearse with its flowing lines and large curved glass viewing window has proved to be a real head turner, yet achieves this with a degree of subtlety that still leaves the casket deck the focus of attention.

Of course, in addition to the obvious visual impact of the Binz hearse there are many supporting features that make the Binz the funeral vehicle of tomorrow, today.
Underpinning the extended chassis designed with full access to Mercedes Benz engineering data, are fully functioning Mercedes dynamic ride, handling and brake assist systems. Occupant safety is a high priority - not just for Watson's own staff, but also for those occasions when a minister will ride with the crew - with air bags, load-sensing seat belts and a supplementary casket restraining bar. At the same time, clever use of interior space and the unique to Binz rise and fall deck ensures too that there is adequate space for even the most elaborate of floral tributes inside the vehicle.

Mike Ainscough, corporate sales manager for Binz added, "When clients buy a Binz they buy a product that is future-proofed.
