DIGNIFIED APPEARANCES AT JAMES SMITH

The Funeral business is, by its very nature, a sensitive profession. From both the trade and the client side gravitas, for most people, equates to a certain solemnity and the comfort afforded by established tradition. Considerations that were very much to the fore when Mr. Lew Fletcher of James Smith (Funeral Directors Swanage) Ltd, of Swanage, placed an order for a Binz limousine and hearse for the firm's fleet.

Lew Fletcher, said, "I was initially a little concerned that our conservative local clientele might consider the sleek design of the Binz hearse as being a little too futuristic. However, clients have been commenting on the dignified appearance of the vehicles. Everyone has been very positive about the choice of Binz for the fleet. 

"The cars have performed flawlessly and our drivers are delighted to be at the wheel of such prestigious vehicles."

Kevin Smith, Sales Director at Binz UK, added, "We are very aware that UK hearses have traditionally looked like an add-on conversion to a stock vehicle. James Smith was founded in 1892 by Frank and James Smith as Builders and Undertakers.  In later years the Funeral Directing side of the business has been carried out by the late Ken Smith and his partner of over forty years Mr Jack Douch of the well known Dorset Funeral Directing family of FC Douch and Son of Wimborne, and for the last sixteen years managed by Lew Fletcher.
