PRESS INFORMATION FROM BINZ UK Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt opt for Binz's Best When Newcastle-under-Lyme funeral directors, Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt needed to replace their hearse and limousines, owners Pat and Andrew Butcher knew that they would be making a considerable investment and they didn't want to get it wrong. After inspecting the vehicles on offer from the biggest names in funeral fleet suppliers, the father and son team came to a single decision; the quality of the cars, the design and the finish of the latest E-Class Mercedes Benz based offerings from Binz were just streets ahead. Coachwork on the Binz vehicles in particular, according to Andrew Butcher, left some of the competitors appearing somewhat patchwork in finish. An important factor, because as he said, "These vehicles need to represent the image and the ideals of our business ethos." The new fleet comprises a single four door hearse, plus two of the innovative Binz 'invisible glass roof' six-door limousines, and marked the first occasion that Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt had dealt with Binz UK. The firm being clearly impressed by the approach of representative Richard Lockwood, who understood and handled their every requirement during the sale. Based on this experience, Andrew Butcher went so far as to comment, "We may well be adding a second hearse later this year and I'm sure that we will be back to Binz for that additional vehicle." From within the Binz UK camp, Richard Lockwood, who handles northern territories sales for the company, said, "It was a pleasure to work with Pat and Andrew Butcher, they knew what they were looking for in terms of features, engineering excellence and design and Binz clearly had the product to meet their needs and fit in with the quality service they wanted to provide to their clients. Having finalised the sale, we will ensure that our follow up with after sales support is just as strong as the sales service." A promise that is backed up by fully-equipped workshops at Reading, staffed by Mercedes-Benz qualified technicians and a comprehensive service and parts back-up operation committed to maintaining not just current Binz models, but also many other vehicle marques commonly found within the funeral profession.
