Harpins Dedicated To Binz

One of the signs of a well run business is when your customers keep coming back. So when David Harpin of Harpins Funeral Services in Wakefield needed to update their fleet they made the simple step of just picking up the phone and calling Binz.

Harpins have been running a Binz hearse and two limousines, for the past two and a half years. Adding a Binz retrieval vehicle was the obvious choice.

David Harpin said, "What sold us on the Binz Vito was the quality and service given by Binz with the four door hearse and the duo of limousines. We simply could not have got better service anywhere else.

"Health and Safety is increasingly important and as employers and in working with the public we must ensure that we have the best and safest operation possible. The Vito, with its clean lines, inside and out, and the hydraulic rise and fall deck is the perfect tool for the job. We do a lot of coroners' removals and I can be asked to collect maybe four deceased at a time from the hospital. The Vito makes that entirely possible, safely."

The Binz Vito delivered to Harpins has the optional people-carrier body style with removable window blanking plates. Style-wise this reduces the delivery van lines, but it has other benefits according to David Harpin. "I can remove the interior panels and use the Vito as a back-up hearse. We do a lot of Muslim funerals which are by their nature always at short notice. The hearse tends to be booked in advance, and having a quality vehicle like the Vito means that I can offer a proper service to Muslim families even if the hearse is unavailable."

Mike Ainscough, director of corporate sales for Binz, who handed the keys of the Vito to David Harpin's son, Sean said, "It is always satisfying when a client comes back for return business and we were delighted to complete the Harpins fleet with this new Vito."

Not only are Harpins happy with their all-Binz fleet, but are planning on replacing it in 18 months time with a set of all-new Binz vehicles. Surely a sign that attention to detail in service and design pays off for Binz, every time.
