Independent Lowestoft funeral directors Critoph and Crowe, was first established in the early 1900's, by the grandfather of current director Mr. Eric Critoph. With son Jonathan now involved in the business that makes four generations at the helm of the independent funeral directors. That long tradition has seen a need to move with the times and having bought a hearse from Binz in 2005, The Critophs decided that their despite their Coleman Milne limousine only having 16,000 miles on the clock, it was time to upgrade to a new vehicle.

The service received from Binz drew Critoph back to Reading and the Binz Mercedes 6-door limousine. The appeal of the sleek Binz product was in the high standard of finish and the high level of engineering. "The presentation of the Binz product was excellent", said Eric Critoph. "We liked the idea of a vehicle that is built by a factory working in partnership with Mercedes. We knew that it would be to the highest possible standard. The one area where we had some concern was at the lack of a dividing screen between the driver and the passengers, but on the contrary it gives the driver a more comfortable position, and the passengers get the full benefit of the air conditioning and heating - rather than just a light flow in the divided car. 

"The ability to reposition the centre row of seats is a great boon. We can ensure that we give the optimum legroom to our clients. We are getting a great deal of positive feedback from both our clients and onlookers."
