PRESS INFORMATION FROM BINZ UK LTD. Three Peaks, a Limousine and a Funeral Director Christmas may come a little earlier for the homeless this year thanks to an unlikely combination of three peaks, sponsorship from leading limousine and hearse maker Binz UK and a funeral director. Phill White, funeral director from Co-operative FuneralCare in Bristol recently handed over a donation for £1879.00, to homelessness charity Shelter, this being the total pledged from sponsors of his team's attempt on the Shelter Three Peaks challenge back in July of this year. As well as actually taking part, White had energetically set himself the task of rounding up the willing backers who would make it all worthwhile. Alongside Binz UK, these included local ministers, hospitals and members of Bristol's motor trade. "The event itself was highly rewarding for the team. The views from the top of Ben Nevis were staggering due to it being one of the clearest days of the year. Ironically the team then struggled to see their hands in front of their faces as they climbed Scaefell Pike and Snowdon ... the horizontal winds on the latter leaving the team literally clinging on at the summit.", remembers White. Roberta Smith, Binz UK director commented, "We are delighted to have been able to help make Phill's attempt on this challenge possible, and that both he and his team have managed to secure this sum for a charity that can make a real difference to both young and old alike".
