Custom finish adds touch of class.

Personalised number plates are one of the few ways that those in the know can tell one funeral director's fleet from another. But what makes the casual onlooker really sit up and take notice is the sight of a hearse finished in another colour than the traditional black.

While Binz UK do offer silver as an option, Mahony and Ward funeral directors of Leeds decided to go one better and opt for a custom two-tone finish for their new fleet of two Binz Mercedes-Benz E Class E220 CDi based limousines and an E270 CDi  based hearse. The three cars are finished in a soft Anjou grey below the belt line, with a delicate gold pinstripe between this and the black. All the additional paintwork was applied by Binz UK's fully-equipped workshops in Reading, employing the same standards and finishes used by Mercedes-Benz technicians.

This attention to detail was one of the reasons which drew  Mahoney and Ward's directors Simon and Tim Mahony to Binz UK:: "The decision to go with the Binz vehicles was an easy choice. The minute we saw the hearse at the road show Binz held at Oulton Hall we knew they were the vehicles for us. The build quality matched with Mercedes engineering backing means we have a fleet that's up to the mark to meet all our customers needs."
