Family-owned Church View Funeral Directors of Chesham, Buckinghamshire, has a long tradition of offering a dignified quality service to the bereaved. The firm has recently taken a step towards further enhancing its operation by replacing its fleet of Daimlers with a new three vehicle fleet from Binz.

Ken Satterly, of Church View explained the buying decision: "We found that the Daimlers had outlived their economic usefulness, we were starting to throw money at them to keep them up to standard and we knew that we had to replace them.

"We had demonstration vehicles on loan from a number of suppliers and we evaluated them in terms of efficiency and reliability as best we could, and we also took the time to consult our clients as to which vehicles they thought were best.

"The outcome was strongly in favour of the Binz fleet and we followed the results of our research and are now operating a Binz 5-door hearse and two six door limousines." Kevin Smith, sales director at  Binz was naturally pleased with the Satterly's decision. "At Binz we do our utmost to deliver the best product and the best service that we can and we have faith in what we do. However, when a client looks at the market objectively and comes to the conclusion that Binz is the best option, we believe that validates our stance on quality and service without compromise."

The focal point of any funeral is always going to be the hearse, where Binz's innovative optically-clear panoramic side and roof window design allows both casket and floral tributes to be displayed to best advantage. Yet the unsung role of the following limousine should not be understated. AirMATIC suspension and heavy-duty climate control on Church View's 6-door vehicles are there not to impress by their presence, but to make that longest of journeys a quiet oasis of calm for family and friends preparing to say their goodbyes to a loved one.
